Wow a bunch of toughies. The are all only my best guesses *L*. First one I saw on E-Bay too. Some kind of Plume that looks a bit like Paisley Plume from the Palo Verde Mtns of SE Calif but some different too. Don't know for sure. #2 Some kind of Jasper-agate with green chlorite moss. A similar form comes from SW Texas around Needle Peak and from Gem Hill near Rosamund, CA. #3 Probably Petrified Wood of some kind #4 If the green is as true as it looks in the pic, maybe some kind of chrysoprase in matrix but not one I'm familiar with. Could be Calif Plasma Agate from near Clear Creek too. That green /brown swirly pattern is pretty common in that stuff....mel

I'm not sure what they are other than awesome. Mel, I don't think the last one is plasma agate. I've got some of that and it doesn't look anything like her pic. Is the first agate spoken for? If not, I would like to talk to you about buying that one and others like it. I'll send you a PM.

Yeah, I think you're right Ed. I pulled my slabs out and all my Clear Creek plasma slabs are more opaque and full of lines and whorls. Several from the Porterville area have similar green but none are as clear as the clear areas in that piece. It's a stumper for me....mel
PS: Ed I think I saw that bunch of plume slabs up on e-bay. Pretty tiny slabs but real pretty stuff.

Hi All, The slabs in the first picture did sell on ebay last week. If I can find more of that same rock in the agate pile, I will set some aside for you Ed. The purple and green slabs are up for grabs, and so are the brown/yellow.

The 2nd pic looks like Hubbard Basin petrified wood. I'm clueless on the others. I collect Hubbard Basin and it reminds me of it in the colors and pattern.
