I picked up this orbicular jasper at a shop but never found out what type of poppy jasper it is or the location of it's origin. Any ideas?

Hmm. I'd say it looks like one of the Ocean Jasper types but there is a brand new orbicular jasper they call Indonesian Orbicular Jasper that looks almost like those green/yellow green ocean jaspers too. I'd guess it's probably the Indonesian material because it's really starting to show up in a lot of the shops now.....mel

Gee, this is an old thread I realize, I must have missed it earlier, but I have also seen some material that looks very much like this on ebay, being sold as "Indonesia's answer to ocean jasper". -Don
