got this 1 from snowdog...i dont have a clue what it is...could someone i.d. it please...and maybe tell me how to treat it...i think i finally took a decent pic...hahahaha..kev. first pic is what it looks like dry..second pic wet...clickable.

you don't know what that is??? it's a blueish/black slab! I haven't a clue sorry - but nice stuff - right looks a bit like OJ of sorts

It looks like a dark version of that Mystic Mountain Jasper- As for How to treat it- Well Cab it up- It would make some very cool cabs!!!

I know in my box from SnowDog I got a couple of Sodalite slabs. They were more light to dark blue to white variety, but I know it also comes in darkblue and black. Maybe??
I would also guess it's next to a piece of Rainforest Jasper. Maybe.

I agree on the second slab Beef, that looks like Rainforest, maybe the oregon type? That blue/black one does kinda remind me of Sodalite, or Demortiurite. Maybe even blue Adventrine?

thanks for the ids folks...its dumorterite...i held up to a light and it is translucent..kinda looks like a wild moss agate when backlit...the blueish appears to look like quartz...and the black looks like moss when backlit....thanks everybody...kev.
