I like that design! Rings are my next venture when I get brave, but I've decided I'm not brave yet. I wonder how they decided that was 1930s? And I wonder who told them it was crazylace!

It looks old. I did one similar to that for my Mom using an opal. It had alot of tool marks on it, but she didn't care. A few months ago she asked me to resize it, so I brought it home and just redid the whole thing. It sure came out nice the second time around. Used deadsoft wire instead of halfhard. Made a world of difference. Now she wears it all the time. Tonja

I like that. Not being a wrapper, I can't quite comprehend how it was made. Was it made in several pieces and then put together, or all made at the same time?

It's made all together using 10 pieces of wire. I owe Dan (Firewalker) a ring, still looking for that perfect manly cab. Whenever I do it, I will takes pics. Tonja

It's cool, and even "cooler" if it's really from the 30's.

Well that's neat! Looks like it's held up really well over the years. Dan

That's a nice style but the stone looks more like OJ than lace to me.

That gives me an idea of what to do with a large emerald I have. Thank you for the post. Tami

I gotta agree with ya Cher...it does resemble OJ. All things considered...it went pretty cheap.
