Awesome rock, Dan! Do you feel some electricity while holding it in your hand? That lightning seems so real! And the wrap is so neat and matches the stone!
Excelent move, Rob!

HERMY!! Oh Behave...
I don't think he's my type...
Just got word from Kim that the material is Flame Jasper. ...and yes, I captured that lightning bolt on purpose. The material has those little streaks of white here and there. It's very cool stuff and takes a great shine.
Rob - It's in the mail today. Hope it gets to you soon.
Thanks again for the great comments everyone. It's always encouraging.

I guess I missed it too. I'm grateful there was a pic, since its gone already. I can see why too.. The cab is great, I love the lightening in it and the wrap is beautiful. I too love the clean lines. Very nice.

Awesome cab and great wrap Dan! woooo hooooo! Dang, I didn't know you could just cut a shape and then tumble it. That is way cool. What if you shaped it some with a grinder and then tumbled it. Still OK? I so want to do some cabs, but I don't want to buy huge amounts of equipment. I am way in the whole with cabs and beads and faceted stones at it is. lol....

Damn, it seems like i've been waiting forever and I STILL don't have it yet Dan. It always takes so much longer for stuff to get here from the US than it does to get stuff there!

Holy crap, I was seriously STRUCK BY LIGHTNING TODAY! ... ...and it came all the way from TEXAS just to get me too! ;D Click to see full sized. It's on the only silver chain I have to go with the wire wrap. Sorry no headshot in this photo, it's day four of my second (and worst) cold in three weeks, don't want to scare the kiddies and ladies now and ruin Halloween you know. ;D Thanks again Dan and sorry if your finger nails got gnawed down a bit. It usually takes about 10-20 days for anything USPS to get here so this wasn't TOO bad but I thought maybe envelopes somehow were quicker, guess not... Still working on completing the display case, gotta find the rest of the rocks first though... My mixed agate batch rolling on the 33b is ALMOST done too but I want somewhere in between my usual shine and that 'KD' shine on as many of the pieces in this batch as possible so i'm giving them until Friday before I check again.

Yeah, everyone who's seen it so far says it looks good on me. (only three people actually, since I haven't left the house yet)
