There was a thread here, well not HERE here but somewhere around here, that taught us how to cut slabs on a saw that was too small to cut the slab in one cut. The person used a "steel cube"(?) that he glued the stone to. Then made one cut through the stone, just a little more that halfway, then turned the cube upside down and made the second cut that cut the slab from the stone. My question is which board is it on? I want to say it wasn't on the right board but I could be wrong. Also, if anyone does know of the instruction I'm talking about, where does one get the cube to glue the stone to? Thanks to all that can help.

Thanks for this! And thanks to Raptor686 for posting it. As I was reading it I was thinking of a hardwood block with multiple coats of urethane or epoxy, because I could make that myself, but I bet the weight of the steel would be worth it in avoiding the vibration & chips I get freehand. It's weird to see pictures of my (formerly) embarassing little saw up there LOL.
