A guy that works with Shawn knows we are into rocks. One day he was walking the railroad tracks near his house, (a couple of towns over from here) he gathered a bunch of rocks as he walked. These are some great rocks. All the tracks I have ever walked have crummy rocks between the ties. Here they must have used rocks from the good areas of Texas. Anyway he gathered enough for a little more than two 3lb barrels. Here is the first of them. The teeny tinies are not from the tracks. The whole lot Petrified woods (I think) A small piece of Pet Palm Wood (I think) A nice mossy agate with a window a couple of pretties These I'm not to pleased with and will be sending them back to the 120/220 a couple of random shots ~~Mitzi~~

Dang Mitzi! You need to spend some time on these tracks. I've checked out the tracks around here and there is nuthin'. Nice job!
Very nice jaspers and moss. I don't think the wood is palm. Need a clearer photo to be sure.
Curt
I just looked at it again and maybe it is palm. Try running it back through gind to get all the white stuff off. I think I see some straws in there.

Nice! All our tracks around here just use granite or lava type rocks for base. Used to be one cool set of tracks in the bay area where lots of garnet could be found in the granite when I was a a kid. That was cool! Great shine on all of those and some darn nice looking agate and wood too....Mel
