I had a pendant made out of some Labradorite for my wife for Christmas. I took some pics of it, and thought I would just show you how it turned out. 1st pic without flash 2nd pic with flash, check out that flash! Happy New Year everyone...................Tony

Great looking stone and I love the bezel setting too! I have never had any labradorite or opal to work with before so I have to settle for pics and oggling specimens at rock shows & shops.

A rock shop owner a couple of towns over made it for me. I went in to meet him and he had just finished this cab, I asked him how much to put it in a pendant, his price was very reasonable. I picked it up the next week. He is gone to Quartzite for a few months now, but he says when he gets back, he will show me some good diggin places, and I am gonna see about learning some cabbing and silver smithing. His 6 year old grandaughter makes some incredible jewelry, she has the knack for it, I mean 50-200 dollar pieces, not just cute jewelry. A wealth of information there. Might be the new place to hang out!
Thanks for all the replies................Tony
