It is a rock we find here in wyoming buy the truck load I am not 100% sure what it is but I think it is hematite (sp?) and jasper it works up real nice but can make a big mess in the saw.

Nice colors Steph! I love the Brazilian and I really like the looks of the yellow/orangish towards the left side,edge of the plate. The one in the 4th pic...is that fortified?? Steve

Nice load Steph! That piece definitely looks like hematite to me. I love seeing all the colors like that. Thanks for posting it.
