We drove over to the east side of town today and checked out the Flagg Show in Mesa. Perfect day, overcast and around 65 degrees. We had a nice little visit with Ralph, Maryann and Sheri out there and really had a fun afternoon. Christa picked up a nice bracelet, Jesse got a few crystals, a carved stone squirrel, and some yummy rock candy, and I picked up a few slabs and a little rough. Here's my loot! Some woods, picture jasper, Brazil and some kinda water mark number A bit of red lace Some neat slabs from Stonesthatrock. Any ID's would be appreciated Ralph also gave me a few chunks of Labradorite to play with Some Maury Mountain Moss, Owyhee, Tiger Iron, Bloodstone and Dino Some moss Some kinda pic jasp, Indian jasp maybe and some unknowns. IDs?? Graveyard (I think) with some nice color, Luna, a cut Thunderegg and Oolite maybe? A chunk of Bruneau (or something similar) and an agate I was told was Montana That's all folks!

What a haul!! Know that book that took pictures around the world of people and all their worldly possessions? I'd do anything to see folks here, with all their rock piled next to them and see who has the biggest pile. You're getting up there, Brian, with Tony and Jamie and Rodney!! Dee

Man, great lot of slabs Beef! I can ID at least three of the ones in pic#3 Upper left is petrified palm root, upper right is Zebra lace Agate and lower left is classic Stone Canyon, lower right looks like polka dot agate but not sure on that one as it looks a bit different from what I've seen. In pic #5 top two look to me like more Maury Mtn stuff. Pic#6 upper right looks like Biggs to me...Mel

Some neat slabs from Stonesthatrock. Any ID's would be appreciated I'd also say bottom left for certain is Stone Canyon (and a NICE one); bottom right I was thinking maybe "Ocean Jasper" (does it have any orbs at all?)? Some kinda pic jasp, Indian jasp maybe and some unknowns. IDs?? Owhyee or Succor Creek picture jasper upper right. Dean

Thanks for the ID's and the kind words folks! I'm not gonna get the chance to hit the Quartzsite or Tucson shows this year, so I splurged a bit in Mesa Now if I can just find the time to cut a few cabs
