Here is my super expensive lightbox. All I did was cut out the bottom of an old tupperware container. i think the tile floor helps.

I place the item to photoed inside the bowl on the floor. Then I place the camera lens through the cut out hole. Turn on the light. then I use the timer on the camera in macro mode.
