Those are cool! What size lap do you have? (I'm thinking about getting one).

Hey Earthdog, some nice pieces there! I have 2 Raytech Hustler 15s and I love them. One thing I sometimes resort to that might help with the embedded polish. I heat the rock. HOT water works well. I believe it may "expand" (??) the cracks that polish gets trapped in. Once in awhile I get lucky and can then scrub the polish out. Usually use a toothbrush or the like. Worth a try if you have nothing to lose... edited for spelling

E-dog: Nice looking specimens! I've had pretty good luck getting embedded polish out of cracks and pits by presoaking the rock in hot water and then using peroxide toothpaste on an electric toothbrush it seems to foam up pretty good and remove a lot of the unwanted polish.....Mel

Mel, I'll try that tomorrow, thanks. Randy, I have the Lortone 20" and I love it. These were probably done with polish yesterday but at -8 last night it was to cold to go in the basement, instead we drove to Chicago to go out for dinner.

Nice pieces. I like the edges remained pretty sharp too.

Those are nice Jimmy, you've sure had a lot of fun with that flat lap.
