It can't be said enough times what a great guy Stoner is!! He made the drive again to my place and brought this with him: Not just any motor either...he pirated his own 18" saw to get it! Um, yeah, the cardboard construction is MY making. Can you tell? ;D And he brought more. Check out these slabettes: Poppy Jasper Lapis RSD ...and more rough! And he helped make Mabel even better, while she awaits her transformation of being the mini-me prototype for his 18" saw project! He mounted the switch on the box, and the new motor works perfectly! Here's what I managed to saw up in the last couple of days. Close-ups. Here's a slab of a AZ thunder egg from Jamie. I LOVE this stuff!!: Deep colors from Burro Creek: ...and a really interesting unique find by Ed from Morgan Hill! I know, I know. I need to start cabbing, but I'm having too much fun slabbing!!! 'the slabbin' fool', ~Dee

Wow, that's some gorgeous material! You'll have a ton of fun turning those into cabs, I'm sure!
What a super nice thing to do, stoner!

It seems having Ed in the neighbourhood is a real privilege. Both from the technical and from the rockin' point of view.

PS. If you turn the RSJ upside down, you have a gorgeous landscape with a tall slim tree.

Damn, are you sleeping at all Dee? You and Mabel have been busy. Glad to see it's running okay, but I think you better go get that belt pretty soon. "Have tools will travel", hmmm..... I don't think they'd let me carry my tools on the plane!
