I need some help in getting photographs to Photobucket, so I can post to the forum. I have an Olympus Stylus 720, and the program does not seem to play well with others.
Can someone please explain how to do this?
Thank you.

Do you have a memory card in your camera? If you do it is easier to get a card reader and just cut and paste the photos off of the card and copy them to your hard drive. Then you can resize them, and put the resized photos onto photobucket. You can get a card reader at Walmart or the like for less than 20 bucks that will read about 15 different kinds of cards.
If you dont have a card in your camera, then you must figure out how to get it from your camera software to wherever you want to put it. All programs are somewhat different, so you have to play with it and see, sometimes it is an export feature, sometimes you can browse right into your camera software directory. It depends on your software.
Good luck........................Tony

Tony: Thank you, the wee camera does have a memory card, so I will stop at walmart tomorrow. I like the camera..it is waterproof..I have tested that feature a couple of times, but the program, I do not like.

Hi Woody rock,
Try to download your photos onto your computer, Either a card reader or the proper Cable Link (I prefer the cable link)
Then If you have downloaded your photos onto your computer you should be able to get them onto Photobucket NO PROBLEM
Just open photo bucket click on browse and go to the place you stored your photos. click on the one you want and upload.
I dont use card readers they are to much trouble.
Hope this helps

Consider yourself lucky ... my old Sony digital camera uses FLOPPY DISCS!
For online photo storage, it just doesn't get any easier than Photobucket.

I usually bypass any program that comes with the digital camera. I plug the USB cable into the camera and the computer, then go to "My computer" under the start menu, click on the camera's icon, and then drag and drop the photos I want onto the desktop. From the desktop I can open picassa or paint or whatever and resize them and put them into the proper folders or upload them to the web.
I haven't played with an Olympus... but this has worked for Canon, Sony, and HP cameras.

It's a PITA, that's what it is! The camera is big, too ... bigger than a 35mm.

He was serious about that? lol, I've never seen one of those. It must be from when cell phones had a suitcase that the cord was attached to. My camera takes a 3 inch CD-R. It's a little bigger than the memory stick cameras, but I love it! (the CD hold an un-godly amount of pics too)
