Wowee! Those spheres are flat out beautiful! As everyone has commented, it's almost impossible to pick a favorite but, being a quartz gem guy, I'd choose the Snakeskin Jasper, the T-Egg, and the dendritic examples as my favs. Gotta say though, I'm also loving that blue banded one. Sure is beautifully colored .....Mel

Do you turn your bases on a lathe?

I glue up blanks, Sand the top and bottom parallel and straight, cut out a circle on a bandsaw, sand it round, rout edges and rout out the middle for the ball to sit in

1934, yesterday I mined a massive chunk of Chrysocolla in Quartz which could be used to make a sphere the size of a bowling ball. It's, by far, the biggest chunk of Chrysocolla I've mined to date. It's currently sitting up there on the mountain, but I'll be hauling it down in the next week or two. I'd guess it's weight at 40-50 pounds. I'll post pics once I have it home. Provided that I can get it down from the mountain undamaged and in one piece, I'll be looking for a buyer.
