does anyone have plans for sphere a cutting rig. and instructions on how to use them. its getting nice outside and i need a project for my brother to do. little things like that keep him happy. ;D mike

Here's a picture of a home made machine I bought at a garage sale and rebuilt - replacing the motors, wiring, grit dripper and water dripper. It runs at 106 rpm. Steve

The April 2004 issue of Rock & Gem has an article on m,aking a sphere machine by Jim Perkins. The article is quite well done, and there is a list of source/suppliers for the materials required. Jim spent a lot of time researching for the design he came up with. The article is well worth reding for anyone interested in building a shere machine. Woody
