What a novel idea. It looks like you could even mount an arbor over each sink basin.
You going to use a recirculating pump in the drain bucket to supply your water feed?
Must be nice to have that much extra room!

Thanks Bob. The 55 gal drum below catches all the water below the sink. After filling I let it settle out and decant. I have a sump inside it and pump the clear water down the drain.

That is one great idea! Can you give us a little more detail? What are the shields made from? john

The shields are made out of aluminum, and have wing nuts on them. The reason for that is too remove the shield quickly and change the sanding belts when needed. The entire motor is mounted on hinges and and the weight of it keeps the belt tight. I have hoses from a water line I put next to it and the waste water goes into the 55 gallon barrel. When that fills up I let it decant and then pump (a sump inside the barrel) it to my washing machine drain line. The main reason I made it was for polishing large pieces of jade and easy cleanup afterward. I works really well.
