Welcome! I hope tumbling gives you a distraction to focus on. Do you have a rotary tumbler or a vibratory tumbler?
Good to have you with us. Anyone else over there you can add to this rock addiction?

Welcome to the board!
I was thinking of Alice as well! The stones she polished from over there were terrific - really neat patterns and a great shine if I remember correctly.

I have a thumblers tumbler. (the 9lb one) Its safe for the most part, I stay on the base the whole time and NEVER the the gate. All the river rocks are turcked in from the river and is spread all over to keep the dust down. There are alot of different kinds of greens and reds. I juss started my polish cycle and will be done in about six days. Till then i will try to take some pics from around here.

Welcome. My son spent 2 tours of duty in Tikrit. He is stationed in Hawaii now and can't go back to Iraq after a terrible bout with a hernia. Well anyway, welcome and be safe. Pics of the Iraqi rock's please.
