Wow that blue one is really pretty whatever it is. That first one almost looks like the granite that I find around here. Very cool!!

My first thought on the blue was calcite... is it soft (softer than a fingernail?). 3 looks like calcite or selenite. the green looks like a feldspar. beyond that... i agree with what's been said

#2 looks like a calcite with an overgrowth, maybe hematite?
#4 & #11 look like stilbite (from India)
#6 I know but I'm having a brain fart, I'll remember it when I quit thinking about it!
#7 probably a barite
#8 I'd go with fluorite, but hard to tell
#9 almost looks like mica does it flake off?
#10 I'll agree with Galena, but it's an unusual formation
#13 probably a stilbite
#14 is a barite, probably from Morocco

Hey, please, please post your final answers? I have some of the same type of samples in my Dad's collection, that we have been attempting to ID. I was also thinking #9 was mica. And #10, I can't see if there are square formations (crystals?). #7 looks like something he labeled as "dog tooth spar", I think? I finally bought a book, but have not had time to pull the rocks out and compare. You have great pix, however, so I might give it a try. I'll do me best in the next few days. Thanks again! K

I'm no expert but my best guesses.
#4, Halite? #9, Mica #10, Galena or Hematite #11, Halite (I have one looks just like it, was told is Halite)
