Howdy, Michaeljohn wanted to see some pics of the material I get from the Cadys. These are all from the gravel beds in the canyon and run between 3 and maybe 10 pounds but my largest hunk from this location is 96 pounds. Very pretty stuff and well worth the easy walks on the gravel beds. However, sometimes the gravels are exposed in one spot, sometimes another. It's always a bit of a crap shoot but there are a lot of gravel beds to search. Still washing the material from yesterday's trip and holy cow we got some great stuff..Mel Moss agate with orbs: Agatized rhyolite nodule half actually much redder than the pic: Nice moss in three different variations:

Mel those are awesome pics! I love that 4th stone.. wow! talk about CHOICE!!! WHEW! that color and pattern is CHOESNAZZ!!!! Can't wait to see more of what ya found!

Bobby: The Cady Mountains extend between Hwy 15 and Hwy 40 about 45 miles E-NE of Barstow, CA.

Those are some outstanding agates! The colors are so bright. Those orbs are cool. You can see the orbs in solid form in the left side of the rock. Very cool. Steve
