Can someone help identify these two agates? They came off the same slab. I don't know what it's called or even where the slab came from. It has red and yellow moss bits in a blueish background. I also can't remember where I got it from. Did a kind RTH'er give it to me? Ed, maybe this is from you. Please help. Thanks, Steve

If I gave it to you Steve, I don't remember and I can't put a name to it either, sorry. But the wraps are cool looking. Did you pick it up at the sale in Hayward?
Oh, and where the Hell have you been? ;D

OK, not you. Maybe it was the Hayward sale. Great to see you on the board Ed! Yeah, I've been absent. But I'm back. It's great to see everyone again.
OK, based on Mel's postings of his Cady Mt. trip, I would say it could be that or Lavic Siding. I still don't know. Steve

I love that first one. The section of solid white with the moss bits is really striking! (And I love both wraps!)

Steve: Problem with moss like that is similar stuff comes from a huge number of locations. Cady's or Lavic are possible as is Northern Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington, Idaho etc. Similar moss occurs almost anywhere the have multicolored agate...Mel
