Here's another one of my Ebay rocks, 8 1/2 pounder. It's really cool, I can hardly wait to slab it. Since I usually slab rocks in the order that I receive them, that could be a month or two. ;D ....

They do put up some nice fancy jasper; great color combinations in that one and some cool patterning in the black

Damn ... how do you find stuff like that... That pattern is gonna look wicked when you slab it. and not to mention when you cab it.. I think the pink is ok ... But I like that little piece of black yellow and bit of Red right in the center ..

The whole piece is fantastic...but everytime I show a girl a rock or a necklace worked on...if it has pink or purple, they squeal like a stuck hog! LOL

That's really pretty, I like the pink. I thought fancy jasper had green and red in it, or does that depend on where it comes from?

Ooooo - I like it!
So, what is the difference in Fancy Jasper from India and Fancy Jasper from Brazil. Can two different stones really have the same name?

Hey Randy, is that a variety of Indian Fancy Jasper or is it from somewhere else like Brazil?

The auction said Brazil, I went back to double-check. They could be wrong, I don't know anything about this stuff. I didn't plan on digging any of it up myself, so at least there won't be any disappointment. ;D

I think you ought to at least take one slice at it, just to fully see what's inside. Tami
