Everywhere I go on this board I see "We like pictures" so let me give this a try. These were found near Road Creek south of Challis, Idaho. The next three pictures are of stuff found in several locations in Utah and Southwest Wyoming. As you can see, I'm still trying to get the hang of this tumbling thing. Here are some geodes from Dugway, Utah. These were really small, so I tumbled them for laughs. This is what the wife does with them. And last, three of my best friends and I on our last trip to Dugway, last October. We've had a lot of fun in the last 18 months since the wife picked up the first of our rocks, but we have a lot to learn. We'll keep reading and learning, and we'll post more pictures when we find something worth showing. Thanks for looking.

Love those geodes!!! Looks like that was some pretty gnarly stuff to tumble...It usually takes a ton of time to get stuff like that to come out nice and round. I've got some Burro Creek in my tumbler...some of those pieces have been in there for over 2 months!

Thank you all for the kind comments. Titania, the tumbled geodes were small and round to start with, everything I've done so far is with the standard 4 step, 1 week in each step method. I am in awe of the patience it requires to leave them in for 2 months or more. Sorry to say that I haven't acquired more of that virtue in over 60 years of trying. ;D Especially when the pile of rocks waiting their turn is so big (and hopefully will get bigger, soon)!

You know the solution to that...more tumblers!

Looks like you find some really nice stuff. I love the little geodes that you tumbled just for laughs. The pattern in them really shows nicely. Thanks for the pics.
