Well, I have managed to buy almost nothing on ebay for over a month now. (Slabs don't count, rihgt?) I need equipment not more rocks anyway.
But, I was a nice day for a drive and I went by a place the next town over. Guy who owns it is in the local club.
I got some different types of pet wood (including Hampton butte green wood), some regional polka-dot, a colorful jasper (might be Marsten Ranch), a few small pieces of mahogany obsidian, a bit of amazonite, chunk of Biggs, something like Cripple Creek picture jasper ... well look at the photo:

Everythign was between $0.20 and $3.00 a pound. I thought about a nice piece of Noreena but it was a 15lb chunk and $6/lb is fair but the total was over my limit.
Some of the bigger pieces of wood are for a friend's yard. One limb is actually iron wood and not the same as petrified.
The pinkish green jasper has a few light grey orbs. The green wood is a real solid piece without hardly any crumbly parts or quartz veins. One of the small slabs is also some sort of stacked orbs.
I took photos of the 20 cent/lb pet wood pile and the 25 cent/lb obsidian pile. I guess I could fill a box for someone next time I go over - but might not be for a few weeks.

This is the polka-dot. Only $2/lb, which I thought was good since I got to cherry pick the most solid pieces or ones with blue ice or good dots:
Here is some Mookite, Noreena and Amazonite:
The Norena chunk that is alone in the leaves and is about 10x10x4 is the chunk I have my eye on. Maybe he will let me cut it in half and buy just half. Club members are supposed ot have access to the slab saws inthe back shed.
