Hello all nice rockhounds! I have just registered on this superb forum after been reading a lot of interesting posts. I am Swedish/ living in Sweden and my livelihood is dealing with minerals and fossils. I am also a collector and enjoy a lot to go for hunting and then study the finds. I am not skilled in cuttings but have a cheep small rock saw and lap -machine for grinding and polishing that I am not satisfied with. After have read posts about members home made equipment I have been inspired to make my own rock saw and lap-grinding- polishing machine. I have started to do a sketch of the saw and I will later on post my ideas in the home made equipment section and hope it will have some comments... I was this year on my first visit in USA for the Tucson mineral show and it was great, and I must say that the "rock people" in USA is equal so nice as the Swedish Hope you excuse my English spelling and grammatical errors /Igneous
