Loaded up a 12lb chunk of blue agate that I dug up last summer near Luna NM And picked up a 22lb chunk of Russian blue agate from ebay. My original intent was to cut it up, but I'm starting to think she may just stay as is. For now, anyway

Wow, those are very nice. The Russian Blue is quite a specimen, I see why you are thinking of leaving it whole for now, I have a couple large Montanas that I feel the same way about, though since I would need a 20" saw to cut them and only have a WF they are safe for now because the hammer and chisel won't be touching 'em. That is sweet find, Beef. Great colous and nice subtle banding too. just a thought...cut a really thick slab for display and then cut some cabbing slabs.

Beef I know what you mean. I bought a few I couldn't wait to cut into but after I set my display shelf up I am having a hard time cutting them. Some are just nice as they are. Sure like those two......MrP
