As board activity does seems to be regressing (in my opinion) I am contributing with these photos of my recent work. I had a couple of ordered piece of jewelery and cabs to make. Not so very creative and interesting but still: Dendritic opal (ordered) Same, another angle. I would never myself set this kind of a stone in this kind of setting, but... Lazulite pendant (ordered) Dendritic opal earrings. It is the same stone as the ring but photo is bad and I wanted to emphasize my wire work. Earwires are made by me since the woman that ordered earring wanted them to be more secure, so I made these - mainly classic but with the catch. Then, since I started working with wire, I felt encouraged enough to start my first wire wrapping. I found that simple scheme in a book - but even that simple wrap wasn't so simple to me (although I altered a bit the original design especially bail). Now I even more admire to people who wire wrap. Charoite I didn't dare to post this picture in the Wire wrapping Section. ;D Ruby in Zoisite I made this ring for my good friend's wife. After I short wile I learned that she's pregnant. This makes this ring even more precious. And at the end my second faceted stone. Amethyst from Malawi Thanks for looking. Zoran

Please post your work even when you consider it's not "creative and interesting". I like all of them very much, especially the ring + earrings set. I agree that one is the best earwire system, very secure.
And you seem to be good in faceting by now.

Thanks a lot, all. I MUST see the back of it! Tweetie, unfortuantely I don't have that wrapped piece of charoite with me anymore. Maybe If you could wait me to make another one or I could draw it to you. But beleive me it looked better from front side. ;D where do you find the time between job and family? Beleive me, I don't know. Meybe my doctoral thesis knows I made another faceted citrine and even felt brave enough to make a ring with it. I hope I'll get time to take a photo and post it tomorow. Thanks, Zoran

Great work, all of them, Zoran! I love seeing what new pieces you've made. It makes me excited to take a metalsmithing class myself!
