Howdy folks, Well, still working on my giant rock sorting project. Man I had no idea how much rock I had accumulated! Anyway, was sorting my north Cady's Plume bin and came upon a nodule with a frothy brown exterior about 6x5x4" thick that had a calcite filled crack down the middle. Sometimes these frothy ones are the real nice plume nodules. So, I gave it a tap with the hammer and darned if it didn't part right down the middle revealing a really nice plume interior. Thought you all might like a peek so here goes. Thanks for looking...Mel Both halves showing the brown exterior: Close up of each of the pieces. Pretty nice on the inside!

Those nodules are like humans: pretty the same on the outside, but unique in the inside. Thanks for sharing. Very cool colors.
