Hello, everyone. I had to do a business trip a couple of days and I was very close to a volcanic lake (I think it's the only one in my country). Here's the road to the lake: Close to the lake there's a wide panorama: Then, after another mile or so, there's a belvedere point. From here the lake could be seen the best from above: There's a panel that shows the allowed and the forbidden actions: I particularly enjoyed that one: Apparently, all that it's allowed is to take pics, so that's what I did: Thank you for looking, Adrian

Looks like a beautiful place, Adrian! That sign of things not to do cracks me up. I can't figure out the 4th one on the first row... I love the 1st one on the 2nd row...it could be interpreted as "Do not try to conduct an orchestra of birds and deer" or "Do not hit birds or deer with a stock" (Shooting them with a gun is OK, though).

4th on the first row is no camping. I had trouble with the no littering one. For a second, I thoguht it was don't throw a can in a bear trap.

is the second one on top "do not climb the trees" or "do not feed the birds whilst climbing the trees"...? WARNING:birds will peck you if you climb the trees?
gorgeous view, i can see why the powers that be wouldn't want it ruined by careless tourists!
nice photos, Adrian!

That's a beautiful lake. The signs are funny, they left out one or two things, like dynamite, having sex, and cutting down trees. lol

Nice set of pics. I realize that you've only shown a small slice of Romania, but it gives me an idea of the countryside. One of my daughter's good pals is from Romania and is heading there next week to visit with her relatives for a few weeks.
Interesting to see some pics from that part of the globe.
