Ok all - I think I now have placed most of the images onto the main site.
I had to break it down into 5 new sections with a few pics on each page so it loads better for surfers.
If I've missed some out - or any comments for some of the older ones - pls let me know.
(I just hope the site changes wont upset the google ranking - eeeeek)
Cheers for all the pics, all are appreciated. Andy.

Andy, I don't think you have to wortry about losing google ranking, my understanding is that if anything your site will benefit from the alterations. Google does a "shullfle" every now and then and those sites that have remained unaltered since the last shuffle actually go down in the rankings, the idea being to push interesting and changing sites higher up the viewing ladder. Question, what is the colour change stone being held in the hand on the last two photos of the section titled Trick Photography?

Hi Joe, that would be 'photocromic glass'. I found some years ago in an old glass factory in Pa. It is neat stuff and I can assure everyone that the color of the last pic was not altered or trick photography used in any way other than stitching the photos together. That photocromic glass really is 2 different colors under the different light sources. Purple and blue. It is tough to show in a pic, but that was the best I could do. If anyone on the site would like a piece to see for themself, I would be happy to send you one. I don't have many left so first come first serve. Just send me an e-mail with your mailing address on it, telling me what a nice guy I am ;D and I'll head a piece your way at my expense. Talk to you later, Don

Wow, that is a really nice setup. I love the new layout! Thank you very much for useing my photos!
I have a feeling that this site is going to get really BIG soon. I wouldn't be too worried about google. If anything it will make the search better.

Thanks for the pictures and the site! I'll be a very happy camper if somebody will post some pix of polished sapphires and rubies, actually, emeralds too, would be nice, although I have gotten some of my own to polish so I know what they look like! My corundum is challenging the heck out of me, however.
Now, here's a silly question. For some reason, once I've gotten into the message board section of the site, I'm unable to go back up to the home page, although that's where I started from and the address that's in my bookmarks. What's up with this? I'm probably missing something obvious.

And another silly question...what determines the member classification? In other words, what do I have to do to graduate up from "new member?"
Hmmmm. You probably have to throw stones at the teacher or something.
