I like the natural look. Actually looks more like wood that way and those have great grain and pattern....Mel

I had never thought of keeping the natural shape with the wood, I like it!! (you can bet that'll be my next batch too) ;D

Great woods! Looking at the natural aspect of the vibed wood, I'm thinking more and more seriously to buy a vibe.

Beautiful wood. Just gives me another reason to save for a vibe.

Nice! Been thinking of doing something like this myself only in a rotary. I'm waiting until I've actually picked up enough wood. I'm finding it in Pa! Before three weeks ago I never realized it could be found here in the NE.

Very cool. I'm normally a tumbling purist -- the rounder and smoother the shape, the better. But the rough shapes really work well for petrified wood. Interesting! -Don

Very nice. The natural shapes are great looking. For sure, another reason to save for a vibe.

Great looking wood! I've done a few like that, but the wood around here has such deep grooves in it and is so hard that it takes forever for a vibe to get it to a polishing stage.

LL, those are totally !! I have just got to get me some of that! LL, is there any chance you could PM me how you tumbled those? I am assuming since they maintained their shape so well you must have used a vibe. I'm REALLY new to all of this and am trying to see what exact processes people go through to get their results. I'd love to know how long you tumbled and with what amounts of grit/polish if you don't mind me asking. Thanks! And once again, those are truly brilliant pieces!
