Hello, everyone! These days we were out of town in a short vacation. I'd like to share with you some pics: First of all, some spring signs: And some Easter eggs (together with some robins and a chinchilla pet wood): Well, the Spring has to wait a bit till it gets on the higher peaks: We made a short trip into the highest gorges here in Romania. Maybe the pics do not "catch" their wilderness and steepness: In the same area, there's a small lake. The formation of the lake was pretty interesting, it occured due to a landslide that appeared some 150 years ago. In the water, one can still be seen the tree trunks "caught' by the landslide: But the main objective of this trip was to reach into a spot where I was before, last summer, together with three of my rock-friends and found some great opalised wood. Firstly, the road that leads to the spot: That's how most of the finds appear: in the field prepared for the crops. so one can say we helped the locals to have a more fertile land And that's the haul: And some of my favorites: Thanks for looking, Adrian

That trip would have been worth it just for the great scenery. The massive rock collecting is a sweet bonus. -Don

Wow Adrian! Thanks for the 'virtual' Easter vacation...I felt like I was there. Beautiful country that's no doubt...and what some sheer cliffs and rugged mountains. You made out like a bandit too. That's quite a successful hunt there my friend. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Steve
