Well they asked what I wanted for fathers day and I said to go rock hunting at Texas Springs, NV. So we went today. My Dad, my wife Chris and myself went for a day trip, we left real early and stopped in Jackpot for breakfast, then on to Texas Springs. We had an old map on how to get there, and for the most part it was pretty close, we did end up finding the digs and spent all morning playing in the dirt. It warmed up to about 90 by noon or so, and the dogs thought they were going to die, so we stopped by a small pond to let them cool off. Callie headed out to get the stick My dad with part of his father's day present The flowers were in bloom and the desert was green. There were so many flowers it smelled like we were driving through a perfume factory. Theres even still a little bit of snow left on the North side of that mountain. We got home and hosed off all the dirt, to see what all we had. The carefully arranged ones on the lower right corner of the tail gate were the ones that we thought were good enough they got to ride up front in the cab. 3 closer views from left to right a closeup of one of the limb casts A nice chunk of limb cast, but only a little of the outside part is left, wish I could have found a whole piece this big, but there are several nodules that look promising. Hope you all had a good Fathers Day, I know we had a good one. Thanks for lookin..............Tony

Great trip photos Tony!!! I think your Dad was HAPPY with just the bag of Candies. Looks like you got some really great stuff, and some really neat limb casts. How hard was the digging?? Did you have to dig deep or was alot of it surface?? Was there many people out there?? I think a few weeks ago there was quite a few state clubs rendevousing out that way for a big Pow-Wow. Anyways...I guess you got luckier at Texas Springs than you would have at JackPot. Steve
