Not sure myself. I started to cut the huge piece of purple/green wood/bog looking stuff I posted a while back: I whacked it into 3 big chunks, and then chipped off some of the brittle chalky white part. There were areas in the center that were vuggy or full of dirt. Here are some slabs shown wet and dry. The dry pics show there is some pattern of cracks. I think these need to be glued or worked around. Can't hardly see the cracks when wet. I could imagine a nice bolo: So far I have cut across the swirls. Next I will take some slabs in the plane of the swirls and see if I can get some rounded cloud pattern.

Wow! So, does it glow in the dark? That's actually a serious question. The slabs on the right look similar my prize chunk of what I was told was youngite. It does glow under a cheap little black light. I received it as a gift already cut, so can't compare to your first photo. Which is amazing!
Wonderful slabs. Can't wait to see more. Thanks!

Karen, this does not look like the Youngite I have seen. What I have seen is a similar root-bear brown, but in a clear to mostly translucent agate. This seems all jasper.

Those colors are amazing! And the patterns too.
