The turbo blade I mentioned a while ago that I got from HD for $14...I think it was worth the money, but that's all. It will hardly go through jasper now..it will cut brick. I think it is softer than the WF blade and less diamond in it. I'll go for the $34 blade next time (soon).

I agree with less diamond, but I suspect the metal is harder and wears away slower, thus revealing new diamond much slower. Blades for harder rock usually have softer metal.

Maybe with other blades. If you look at the turbo picture in the other thread and the slabs on the saw...that's all the work the blade did when I took the picture. If you look close, the edge of the blade is ground to an (V) edge not a (U). That's why I think it's softer.

Maybe. I was just repeating something from the UKAM web tutorial on types of diamond blades. No intention to be contrary.
I have no experience to judge V vs U. It seems that harder material will take an edge (V) while softer material would be blunt (U). But I an not a metallurgist.
I am using one of the 10" RIDGID blades from HD and it is working OK. Not as good as MK303, but it seems at least as good as MK 225 (HotDOg).
