I wanted a sterling silver bracelet for myself, but I couldn't yet justify spending over $100.00 for it (you'll see why in a minute) and having something flimsy break from everyday wear (sterling is pretty soft). SO I decided on a much cheaper option that is pretty good for now - so I can see how much wear this thing will get - it's stainless steel and yellow niobium This is what I meant by not wanting to spend over $100 on it - it comes disassembled... ;D It's called dragonscale: the first one is 24 gauge gold titanium & 22 gauge stainless steel wire. - the rings are tiny - the larger ones are 3/8" and the smaller rings are about 1/8" (I think) - I'm not thrilled with this one, it's taking forever to put together and it's not as "blingy" as I wanted cuz the stainless is too small to shine nicely The second one is the trial size for the sterling silver and this one I'm much happier with the stainless is much shinier and the yellow niobium is much brighter than the titanium - it's 22 gauge 3/16" & 1/8" - this is going together much faster than the other one and it's much more rewarding to do this one knowing that I'll like it better. I've only got about 2-3" done so far I'll post the finished pic if anyone is interested is seeing the final product - (I can see I have a few closures to revisit) Thanks for looking - I'm going back to weaving.... this could take a while!

Very nice, Tweety. How many ounces of sterling would you need? There are a couple of sellers on Etsy that sell sterling rings by the ounce for a better price than I found online.

That is a tideous chain to do, however, it is a beautiful chain when it's done. Well done. Tami

You must have learned the patience necessary to do chain mail from tumbling Tweet, I think I would go mad before I finished my first piece.
