I bought 25 diamond tipped bits off of Ebay for $9 shipped. The do the job just fine and have many different shapes.

The grinder at upper left is about the size of a quarter and it's the best one I've used so far but was really expensive ($50) from a local rock shop. Now I just gotta do some research & find it for less money. The bits in the yellow container came from ebay. I think they were about $12-$15 with shipping. They are pretty cheaply made but if you're careful not to let them heat...they should last a while. The little bits in green were from another local rock shop. Hope that helps!

A small stream of water keeps the bits for overheating so quick and also protects you from dust. Take reasonable precautions against shock, like a flex shaft.

I get mine from Widget, they run $21.95 for a set of 40-50 bits, they also have a lot of choices from discs to burs and wheels. They also carry a lot of other Dremel accesories. www.widgetsupply.comTerry
