somedays you WIN! ;D i got a mixed box of slabs (7.5 lbs) on eBay for 25 bucks.....i'm so pleased my face hurts from smiling! not sure what some of these are, so please chime in with ID's! first up is a nice piece of Blue Lace agate: next up is a blue-sparkly slab, i know i've seen this before but can't remember what it's called: here's a close up: next, a nice piece of Golden Tigereye: some sort of green banded agate: this next green matrix-y slab, i have no clue, sure is pretty tho: a close up: maybe Morrisonite? Noreena Jasper, i've always wanted some of this: some sort of orbicular something? i know i've seen this before, too, but can't remember what it is: some sort of poppy jasper: a very nice slice of porcelain jasper: and a close up: i think this is pet wood, it's gorgeous! and a close up: some red jasper with hematite: a killer slice of red mexican lace: and a few close ups: i think this might be red tiger eye? marra mamba? Ruby in Zoisite (sp) sagenite? (that blue stuff is some kind of paint) another lovely piece of sagenite, i've always wanted some of this too: zebra agate: i believe this is spiderwen jasper (Spider web or spiderman?): and last but not least, what i think is Tiffany Stone. I've always wanted this too!!!! needless to say, i'm a very happy bunny! i think i got MORE than my 25 bucks worth, don't you? thanks for looking, KD

Wow, awesome score! Those are fabulous!
I think your pet wood may actually be Polish flint, which is also gorgeous!
Lucky gal....

The sparkly one looks like lepidolite (very soft & hard to get a nice shine on)
the marra mamba looks like picture tiger eye that someone cooked to go red - that's the first time I see that! (is it drying up or are there white spots?)
You scored great on those - the green glowing moss is awesome!

Yes, the pet wood is Polish FLint - it take very high polish
What you call poppy is high quality Mary Ellen Jasper, the red jasper lower doen is either low quality Mary Ellen or Jaspalite, which is same thing.
Your orbicular looks like an Ocean Jasper
Could green matrix be chryschola in quartz?
COuld blue sparkley be Dumerite?

Each slab in this selection is beautiful and special! My favs are the "pet wood" (though I doubt it's pet wood, but anyway it's gorgeous), the pink spotted unknown (name sugestion - Measles Jasper ) and the spiderweb. Adrian

Very nice score! That red tigereye is probably my favorite of the bunch - it's a great color with some great patterns in it.

Hi KD, I can't wait to see what you do with them, the next to the last? I bought some rough a month ago it was sold as spiderweb but color wright sells it as spiderman so I have no clue which to call it either. Btw your close ups made me drool.
