I cannot believe it is already August 1st. I cleaned out the slab bucket this morning, it was not full yet, but it has some interesting stuff in it. I traded a box for a box from Kap, this is a few slabs off of a chunk of his Savannah River Agate. This is some great material. closeups The rest of the chunk of Pet wood that I traded to Daniel for. Some are cut against the grain, but most of these slabs were cut with the grain, made for some great patterns. Closeups This is an experiment that I put in my tumbler. I went and collected up the pieces of Morisonite, Bruneau and Willow Creek that the fire "heat treated" for me, and put some of them in the tumbler to see what would happen. Will keep you posted on the progress. Have a great day................Tony

Tony, you'll have fun working that! I'm hoping to go with Keith sometime and hunt that stuff. I find some around here that is very similar, but not in the quantities you can get over east from here. And not always great patterns. Tony
