I tried to emphasize the stone over the wire. It's a flame agate cabachon, and leapordskin and a goldstone bead, pearls, sterling bead, crystal dangly. I'm not sure. I think I like more wire work... ??

I really like this. there is so much texture to it. Now this is only my personal taste, I really love the wire wrap with the stones but would omit the dangly it doesn't seem to go with the rest of the theme of the pendant. Just my taste though.
It looks like you used copper but what is the other wire. I'm going to have to try one of these wraps. Great job!

I agree with sitnwrap - I actually like the top half but the dangle throws it for me. I really like that you accented the stone. One of the things I have a hard time with about these types of wraps is sometimes the stone appears to just be peaking through the wire...this one it's definitely a focal piece.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I think I'll play with this one a little more. I'm just not 'quite' happy with it yet... my son says it reminds him of tidepools.

Yummy goldstone! I have to agree, the wrap is perfectly balanced, but the dangle does throw it off a bit!

That one is pretty, I wouldn't add anymore wire, I think you would loose the stone. Tami

I took people's advice, and played with it. I like it better! I went with the tidepool idea, and it's truer to the style I started with my first attempt. Here it is! Thanks for sharing my wrapping adventures! Dee

This is beautiful. It really does remind me of tidal pools. Love the starfish.
It looks like so much work. You do such a great job. Thanks for sharing.

That is just beautiful! I love your new interpretation of a dangly and that silver starfish is the perfect finishing touch to bring that wrap and the stone together. I absolutely love it!

I love it! The starfish is great, and the new swirls make me think of seahorse tails!

I am one that always prefers simple border wraps......no foo foo, beads etc. and want the stone only to be the centerpiece. But MAN is that ever amazing. Everything flows together extremely well. I can only imagine the work that goes into those and doubt I would ever have the patience.
