Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around lately been having a lot of health problems associated with the kidney stones. I'll have to try and catch up with everyone's work. I have been able to cut some cabs but by the time I get done tending to my shop, I've just been too tired to upload and post the pics. So here's some of what I've been doing. This one I'm told is a real rare plume agate from So Calif. Ocean Jasper with a natural druzy edge. See, I told you I wasn't feeling myself! Cathedral Agate Butterfly jasper Rainbow obsidian A second view Turquoise Picture jasper Cool little dendritic Woodward Ranch Red Plume And a second one There's more, I'll try to get them posted in the next few days. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I hope to know what's going on and maybe start feeling better.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Feeling down doesn't seem to be affecting your cabbing, though...these are great! My favorites are the cool little dendritic one and that red plume. How are you finishing off your obsidian? Do you stay on diamond or move onto a polish instead?

Thanks guys. I've been finishing the obsidian after the 1200 belt by going to the 14k paste on leather, then just a quick buff on plain leather. It seems to be working good. I don't even own any oxide polishes and that's just fine by me.
I was told by my doctor today that I should drink lots of fluids, then just before I use the bathroom, lay on my side so my kidney is elevated, and pound on my back in the area of the kidney to get them moving down the tube. Oh, and come back in 3 months so he can check if they are all gone. The x-ray today showed a cluster of stones. I guess I should make sure next time my appointment isn't so close to his lunch time!!!(12-2 pm)

I'm sorry to hear about the kidney stones. That is not the kind of stone you want to be collecting! Now, on to the better rocks. These cabs are beautiful! That rainbow obsidian is very pretty! (Feel Better!) Fran

I've missed your work, Ed! That sounds like a difficult yoga position or something; lying on your side, and pounding your back arond the kidneys. Oui vey. Your cabs certainly are beautiful as always! Love that Socal plume!

Sorry to hear that Stoner but hopefully them little buggers will work themselves all out. It's good to see more of your work. I love that Cathedral and the Butterfly the best. Keep pounding that kidney area! Steve

Ocean Jasper = Man in the Moon, green cheese and all.
As always, I love your stuff. You just seem to pull the exactly right cabs out!
Feel better soon!

I love that ocean jasper the shark bit! Now that is cool. Love the shape on the butterfly and the turquoise is amazing! All great... and not bad for a sick guy! A rock man called Stoner got down by stones. It just don't seem right! T
