I bought this strand of beads at our local fair. I was intrigued! Anybody have any input? Anybody interested in using one in a piece of jewelry? I hope they are actually older than 1963. If not? Oh well. I had fun, and got a great history lesson. If you could steer me to a better place than google, I would appreciate it. I think I have some 'Dogon' beads, and some 'Dutch trading beads'. How do you tell if they are actually old? Thanks! K

K...it's like anything else when you are buying something old. Ya have to be able to trust the person you're buying from. A shop I sometimes buy from has what they call "Antique African Glass" beads. They are pretty expensive and resemble what you have but are not predominately blue. Sorry I can't be of more help!
