I have posted a couple of materials that I purchased either on E-bay or at Quartzsite earlier this year. The first was sold to me as Candy Cane Jasper (maybe from Africa) and the second pair was sold as Jackpot Jasper (old Oregon collection). I was able to track down a town in Oregon called Jackpot but that's abut it. Can anyone shed any further light on the locales for these slabs? Candycane Jasper Jackpot Jasper Thanks for any help.

How close was Jackpot Oregon from the Owyhee mountains? The pattern is very similar to some of the Owyhee picture jaspers...

Candy Cane is out of Africa. I got a big piece form rockman69 about 2 years ago.

According to rawk11 the Jackpot Jasper was from a private claim close to the Owyhee Wild Horse Jasper mining operation. He was buying some Owyhee Jasper and the claim owner through in few bonus pieces during the sale.
few message all seem to agree that the Candy Cane Jasper is from Africa but nothing further in giving a more precise location.
Thanks everyone.
