Hello, everyone! Today I had some time to cab and wrap, and I made three pendants from three beach pebbles from Lesvos: The one in the left was very promising and almost naturally cabbed, I only had to correct and straighten a bit the border for the groove cutting. Too bad it is a little softer and didn't take a good polish. The one in the middle is a moss agate, the picture doesn't show very well the mossy patterns so I added a close up pic below. The one in the right is a pet wood. backs: sides: Thanks for looking, Adrian

Real Beauties! Do you use a flat wire to wrap the bail?

adrian, I think that sometimes especially if it is a beach stone, a softer sheen is more appealing as it conforms to the natural tumble and polish of the sands and tides. It's polished perfectly, just enough to bring out the colors and pattern imho. I have a little beach stone of my own that deserves an Adrian original wrap. It will be my first try in copying you. Hope you don't mind.

Thank you all! Thom, yes, it's a flat wire wich I make by hammering a round wire. But I think the specially designed half round would work better. I can't find half round here, but no problems: hammering the wire both flattens and hardens it and it works just fine. Sitnwrap, of course I don't mind. In fact I'd be glad to see other people's results in groove wrap Adrian
