Hello, This was a gift and they got it at an auction. No idea where its from. if you hold it up to the light you can see through some of it. It has been saw cut on one side. it looks like another rock embedded in the translucent area ?? cant seem to scratch it with pocket knife thanks for any help cool looking what ever it is

Any suggestions on what i can doo with it. should i break it up and tumble or slice it. Not sure never had this stuff before.

you can do just about anything you want to with it! They tumble well but can fracture if you use a hammer to break it up. Cabs can be to die for in the hands of the right cabber!

i have a bunch of montana agates and they cab up and tumble up great!!!! it's nice hard material so you could do anything you want with it and it always seems to come out gorgeous!!!!!
