The bottom right is a bit lopsided. It is also the first time I tried to do anything fancy with the top wires so at least that came out ok. This is one of the cabs Steve Holmes sent me. Thanks Steve . Side view. With my screw gun, I twisted the middle wire. This gives a subtle zing to a wrap. Back view. Thanks for looking.

Looks great! Thanks for showing the back. I like the off sided bottom binding. It sets up a nice visual dynamic with the flourish at the top. Tony

Wow, beautiful and elegant pendant! I like how you managed to do a wrap that hides the stone just a few, yet being secure.

Very pretty! The twisted wire adds to the beauty without taking away from the beautify stone. Great job! Fran

Very pretty and stylish!! I agree with Fran, I love the way the wrapping plays a "supporting role" to the beautiful stone. Nice work!!

Thanks for the compliments. Who ever posted how to gauge how much wire a cab needs for wrapping, (tape around the cab then untape and measure the tape and add 2-4 inches) I want to thank you very much. I always waste about 4-6 inches of wire when I wrap cause I over estimate what will be needed. I had very little wire left over on this wrap using that formula.

Very nice~! I love seeing some of the cabs I've created being used in jewelry... It's exciting to see! That wrap is perfect for the stone. I never thought that day would come that I'd be cabbing and someone would want to use them. Thanks for sharing your talent Lori. Steve

Thanks all. It took me 2 years figuring out how to make the backsides neat and how important it is for the all round presentation. Steve, I know what you mean. In the beginning, I never imagined anyone wanting to wear what I made. I feel the same way when I see someone wearing things I make. It is exciting and it makes it all worth it. .

Nice, Lori! I really like the light swish at the top...adds a lot without being distracting!
