I purchased a tutorial on Etsy by 'earringsbyerin' and tried it out on a cab I got a while ago on Ebay. Lots of mistakes, so I'll have to do it a few more times to get it right. But I do like the idea. Apologise in advance that I can't show the back, but it's part of the tutorial and I don't think the artist would appreciate it been shown But it's basically two pieces of wires coiled at the two sides and 'wrapped' to each other and to the side frame to hold together. You can take even one wire going from the top to bottom or sideways, anything that can be used as a backing so the stone doesn't fall off. Marika

That is very art'sy. A lot of flair! A wrap like that could make a chunk of sandstone look good. Very Kewel!

That is such a beautiful and different wrap. I love the top and also the bottom. I keep going back to look at it. It is so pretty.
