It's only waste if it isn't put to good use. You used your wire phenomonally! Beautiful wraps and worth every inch of wire you used! What ever the second pic down is, it is gorgeous and I love the binding offset on the bottom.

Those are really clean. I have a few that I have wrapped similar to these and have found that the lack of swirls and curly cues are what some of the younger folks are looking for. I think these are just great. No wire wasted here. I really like the simplicity of the bail as well. Great work! -Banjo

Wow! that is some nice wire wasting. Do you happen to have a photo of the back of any of these? I am still learning this craft and would like to see how you terminate the ends of your wire.

If you consider it a waste I will happily take it. Nice solid and neat wraps that enhance the stone rather than distract. Fancy wraps, swirls and curls have there place but you still can't beat letting the stone shine and see mother nature at her best.
