Last weekend I cleaned the old saw out. What a dreaded chore ..but it needed it! It's nice to have my saw up and running. I cut quite a bit..but these were the highlights. A couple barite nodules. Very solid and no fractures. These are so red too.....with almost 2.5" of depth on the nodule left to slice. I am placing these on e-bay. ;D A faced heel. My favorite....Dryhead! Too bad for the few fractures. They are healed....so it's pretty solid as well. Steve

Are those barite nodules the same or like the same as what is also known as desert rose? I have a couple of desert rose and have read that it is actually barite but my red roses aren't solidified as the nodules are.
I see some pretty cabs coming out of both the dryhead and the barite.
