I've been really bad about posting things lately and I apologize to all who have sent me well wishings, and especially to a couple of people who sent me fantastic pieces of their art. First, I received this piece of petrified wood from the Danube River that Adrian polished and mounted for me with a great description hand written on the bottom. Thank you Adrian, this is sitting on my shelf and will be treasured forever. What he wrote. And I also got a package from Lori(sitnwrap) that was a real pick me up. She found this piece of sea glass with the letter "E" on it and decided it was meant to be made into something for me. She made this gorgeous flower and sent to me as a pick me up because I hadn't been on the board much since I started having problems with my kidney stones. And it worked, thank you so much Lori, it is sitting right next to the pet wood from Adrian. close up of the flower From the rear view This is what makes the people on this board so great, I'm glad and proud to call you all my friends.

I learned some lessons here on RTH. One of the most important ones to me was that giving is as least as enjoyeble as receiving. And when the person who receives what you gave to him treasures and enjoys your gift, there isn't greater satisfaction. Ed, I'm so GLAD you enjoy my gift, and that "E" flower makes a great company to the wood. I agree with Lori that it was meant for you. I think you already figured out, but the polished base is also a piece of pet wood from the same location, as the rough "tower" is. Adrian PS. I hope you will keep from now on your rogh stones (like these ones) on your shelves, not in your kidneys

Ed, it was your contest (the first one I entered) and your kindness that made me feel the strong footing here and to follow, the generosity of other members.
There is a silent calling and some think that it is in the stones but it is the heart's voice ecoing off the rocks.
I'm just really glad that you are here posting.
Adrian your Pet Wood is so beautiful.
